I thought that I had a great research topic, but it turns out I really couldn't find a lot of information on it . So the advice I would have to give would be to research your topic and go through your resources thoroughly to see if the information provides enough information for a long paper. Especially enough information to support your thesis.
The area I most feel I have improved in is APA citations.
This term was great and I am happy to be starting my fifth term at Kaplan!

It has been nice...
This term actually went by pretty quickly. I am happy that it is over and I hope all my hard work pays off. Submitting my paper made me feel good. Accomplishing feelings are the best. I was overwhelmed but I just keep positive. Next research topic will have to be about Down Syndrome. Hope that everyone has a Happy Turkey Day!

Almost done!
I am so excited that the beginning of Unit 9 is only a day away. I have worked very hard this term as I do in all my terms here at Kaplan. Time management and keeping up with deadlines seemed a bit harder this term but we all made it.
I actually do not even know if someone commented on one of my blogs. I read a couple of my peers blogs and they were all very expressive and interesting. I will not be blogging after this term, simply because it really is not my thing. I am more of to myself person. My opinion of the whole technical world is blah, text messaging, blogging and social networking are not really of my interest and I feel that they keep me a bit in the box, secluded. I am an adventurous, logical person and cannot allow myself to stay in the box...

Peer Reviews
I had recently moved and have no had internet for almost a week, so this blog is unfortunately late.
I actually love to read my peer reviews and so far they had been very helpful. I have been a bit distracted these past few weeks but get motivated easily once I log on and read reviews and comments from my peers and professors.
Trying to get back on track here in reference to classes, so I have a lot to do. I will definitely be writing a whole lot more next blog.

Week 6 comes to an end!
Seems kind of scary that in just 2 in a half weeks our final projects are due :/ Like I wrote in last weeks blog it is becoming a little more than overwhelming yet challenging. I actually like the topic I am writing about a whole lot. I know that the outcomes of domestic violence are very severe and important to know about and I feel good about putting everything down on paper. I do not have much to say, just excited to be getting closer to the end of the term.

Overwhelming is not the word!
I have to say that school is one of the most positive things besides my pregnancy happening in my life right now. But unlike my pregnancy, school has yet another term become "overwhelming". The closer to final projects we get the crazier I feel inside. I have no idea how half my Kaplan peers do it with children and jobs. Must be some pretty strong people. Do not really feel like writing about writing techniques or challenges. Have a good week!

Giving credit to who and where it is deserved...
Plagiarism is a very serious topic and offense, in my book anyway. I have actually been a victim of it and the feeling is not nice. I try my best when constructing research and taking notes not to step on anyone's toes. I believe that the person or persons' information and ideas that are being viewed upon should be paid with 100 percent recognition. We should use this information as a stepping stone instead of a way out of using our mind. We all know when something is not originally our own so why should we pretend to ourselves that it is? We are only limiting ourselves to a broader view and closed doors.
